COOKING ENJOY COOKING ARE PLANTING TREES Since 2020, we have been compensating for the carbon footprint of our products by purchasing tree seedlings andthenplantingthemwithourownhandsontheterritory of theCzechRepublic. Tocalculate thecarbon footprint, we use the unique certified tool Carbon Tracking Tool according to the ISO14067 standard, which was developed by the international industry association IPPAG in cooperation with ECOACT based on the Life Cycle Analysis method. Planting trees makes sense to us because, in addition to offsetting our carbon footprint, we help restore forests after the bark beetle disaster. Our forests are very important to us because they are not only beautiful, but they create an important ecosystem and retain water in the landscape. During the last planting in 2025, we planted over 1 300 new trees in the villageof Nížkov in theVysočina region. However, sustainability is not just about offsetting the carbon footprint. The life cycle of the product also plays a big role, and this is an advantage of the Vanilla Season brand, as we pay great attention to quality, design and functionality.
